We are happy to announce that the 2020 NotaBle Acts Summer Theatre Festival will indeed be taking place from July 23 – August 1! We are now seeking actors for roles in 14 new scripts. In order to provide a safe audition process, we will be taking auditions in the form of “self-tapes” this year. All interested actors should record themselves performing a short (maximum 2 minutes) monologue of their choice. No memorization or experience required. All those interested in auditioning should email nbacts@unb.ca to register and to receive audition information. The deadline for auditions is 5 PM July 3rd.
NotaBle Acts aims to reflect the diversity of New Brunswickers on stage and particularly welcomes auditions from artists who identify as Black, Indigenous, persons of colour, LGBTQ2IA+, and members of other marginalized communities.
The safety of our actors is our top priority. As such, all rehearsals and performances will adhere to the province’s COVID-19 guidelines. If you are interested in auditioning but would like to know more about our COVID-19 protocols, please email us at nbacts@unb.ca
